Nothing goes with a curry like chutney. This chutney was inspired by the chutneys my aunt made back in the 60s and 70s. Hers were usually apple or pear-based, with lots of cloves and cinnamon. This chutney contains very tart plums, peaches, and mango. I dumped all this fruit into a large pot to which I added sugar, vinegar, fresh ginger, cardamom (whole), cloves (whole), a cinnamon stick, and mustard seeds.
